Mack’s Doodles a Force for Good at Acadia Hospital

Shane McPherson, also known as Mack, is a psych. tech. in the Pediatric Day Treatment Program at Acadia Hospital. Among other things, he is an artist and avid “doodler.” He is also an incredibly thoughtful and generous individual who has created a coloring book of his “Mack-a-Doodles” playfully titled, “Sorry I Got My Brains Everywhere.”

Alzheimer’s Clinical Trials – Part 1

Clinical trials are being conducted at Acadia Hospital in Bangor that is part of a new global study of the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication in people who have normal memory function, but who might experience memory loss associated with Alzheimer’s disease in the future. Dr. Clifford Singer is conducting these important trials.
