Acadia Welcomes Three New Psychiatrists
Bangor, ME – The Acadia Hospital is pleased to announce the hiring of three new psychiatrists; Dilek Avci, MD, Linda Call, MD, and Nathan Valentine, MD.
A Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who will work in Acadia’s Pediatric Outpatient Services, Dr. Avci earned her MD from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in May 2007. Dr. Avci completed her psychiatry residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2010 where she also completed a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in 2012.
Also a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who will spend her time on the child/adolescent inpatient unit, Dr. Call earned her MD from the University of Mississippi in June 2007. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire in 2008 where she also completed a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in 2012.
An Adult Psychiatrist who will work on the hospital’s adult inpatient unit, Dr. Valentine earned his MD from University of Illinois College of Medicine in May 1999. He completed his psychiatry residency at The University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison Wisconsin in June 2009.

The Acadia Hospital offers rapid access to a wide array of mental health and substance abuse services. These include evaluation services, medication management, therapy, day treatment and inpatient services.
