Bangor, ME –Acadia Hospital has been chosen to receive the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce 2014 Non-Profit of the Year Award. This award is given to a non-profit agency that has made a notable difference in the lives of the people who live in the greater Bangor region.
“I see this recognition as a direct reflection of the dedication, compassion and expertise displayed by our employees on a daily basis, the important governance work performed by our volunteer board of trustees who, as community members, steward our mission and shape our direction, and the vision of our donors who invest in our mission of caring,” commented Acadia Hospital President and CEO Daniel B.
