Acadia Psychiatrist Recognized as Provider of the Month
Catholic Charities Maine Honors Dilek Avci, MD
Bangor, ME – Catholic Charities Maine has chosen Acadia Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Dilek Avci, MD as the December, 2013 Provider of the Month. Each month their case management staff selects a Provider of the Month who embraces quality care and collaboration for their clients.

This was noteworthy due to our developing relationship with Dr. Avci as a provider and the importance of collaboration in meeting the diverse needs of clients. We are grateful for Dr. Avci’s commitment to the children of the Greater Bangor Area.”
A certificate presentation was held at Acadia Hospital on March 4, with many of Dr. Avci’s co-workers in attendance.
Dr. Avci, who works in Acadia’s Child and Adolescent Ambulatory Clinic, commented, “I am honored to receive this recognition from the staff at Catholic Charities Maine, and would like to thank them all for the hard work they do. The case management services they provide are a significant support for my patients, and our collaborative relationship is something I value a great deal.”
Acadia Clinician Associates on the Pediatric Inpatient Unit Heidi Baker, BA and April Thibodeau, BA, MHRT/C were honored by Catholic Charities as the Providers of the Month for November, 2013.
