Acadia Psychiatric Nurse Recognized as Provider of the Month Catholic Charities Maine Honors Gene Gregor, RNC
Bangor, ME – Catholic Charities Maine has chosen Acadia Hospital’s Pediatric Ambulatory Services Clinical Supervisor Gene Gregor, RNC, as the October Provider of the Month. Each month Catholic Charities case management staff members select a provider who embraces quality care and collaboration for his or her clients.
Clinical Supervisor for Catholic Charities Maine Ken Rautiola, LCSW, observed, “Every month our case managers meet and nominate community providers for consideration for our Provider of the Month Award. At a recent staff meeting Gene was nominated based on his consistent quality of service and ability to connect with clients. Gene has positively impacted many children and our case managers see him as a tremendous community asset for children and families.” A certificate presentation was held at Acadia Hospital.
Acadia Hospital Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Wayne Steller, PMHNP-BC, commented, “The Child & Adolescent Ambulatory Service care team was thrilled to learn that Gene had been recognized as the Caregiver of the Month for October. Gene is highly respected and well known for his compassion and skill, as well as his wonderful sense of humor. Additionally, Gene is currently enrolled at Husson University pursuing a master’s degree in nursing. We couldn’t be more proud.”
Acadia Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Dilek Avci, MD was honored by Catholic Charities as the Provider of the Month for February, 2014.
