The day, which included not only a scramble-format golf tournament, but an after-golf dinner featuring a silent auction and raffle drawings, raised $22,000. The money helps subsidize Acadia programs and services. "The Swing Fore Life Classic is an opportunity for Acadia to raise money and bring community members together in support of our mission," says Acadia CEO/CNO Dottie Hill, RNC. "This year was a success on both fronts and we look forward to making next year even better."
The tournament wouldn't be possible without the backing of Eastern Maine Charities (EMC) and the incredible amount of work done by the Acadia Swing Fore Life Committee.
A special thanks to EMC staff Nancy Dysart, Jill Reynolds, Deanna Masterson, Marianne Grifasi-Miller, Monique Bolduc, Jerry Hayman and Charities Vice President Michael Crowley.
