Research Clinical Trials

Welcome to the Acadia Hospital Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Trials Program

Early-photo-for-website.jpgThe Acadia Hospital Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Trials Program is a collaboration of Acadia Hospital and Eastern Medical Center’s Clinical Research Center. Through this joint effort, people that are interested and who qualify, have access to the latest experimental therapies to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr. Cliff Singer is the principal investigator and lead for the clinical team at Acadia and Dr. Barbara Sorondo is the director of the EMMC research coordinating group. The program brings the latest scientific advances to our patients, providing hope of eventually finding a cure.

One study we are particularly excited about is the EARLY study. Please click on the photo to learn more about the EARLY Clinical Trials.

For insight into the impact the research can have for individuals and their loved ones living with Alzheimer’s you can watch this video vignette featuring Dr. Singer created in partnership with Jackson Lab.
