Bringing gifts, other than personal items, to patients at The Acadia Hospital is not suggested, but may be permitted with certain guidelines. Please check with the patient's clinician prior to bringing a gift to be sure that it is appropriate. Gifts such as expensive jewelry, cassette or compact disc players, electronic games, or cash are not recommended.

The Acadia Gift Shop, located in the main lobby of the hospital, offers a variety of items such as Maine crafts, books, cards, and stuffed animals. Proceeds from sales at The Acadia Gift Shop benefit patient care through our annual fund.
