The Acadia Hospital is running two new ads on WKSQ—KISS 94.5 FM featuring Acadia employees Sheri Thompson and Gwyn Mattingly. Each has their own ad that has them talking about why they love working at Acadia. The ads’ scripts were derived from essays that Thompson and Mattingly wrote as part of Acadia’s Share Why We Care program. Share Why We Care encourages Acadia employees to write about why they are passionate about their work, and the finished pieces are featured in various ways throughout the hospital. Tapping into these essays for radio ads was just another creative way to feature the hospital’s amazing employees. The ads are meant as a combination public image campaign and employee recruitment effort and Acadia hopes to feature other employees in the future.
