Department of Health and Human Service’s Licensing will conduct a Substance Abuse Services Review of the agency named below on the dates indicated.
The purpose of the licensing review will be to evaluate the agency’s compliance with the Maine State, Department of Health and Human Services, Regulations for Licensing and Certifying of Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, and the Rights of Recipients of Mental Health Services.
The Substance Abuse Licensing and Certifying Standards deal with both the Administrative and Clinical aspects of the agency. The Rights of Recipients of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services deal with the rights adults who are in need of Substance Abuse Treatment. Anyone believing that he or she has pertinent and valid information about such matters may request an interview with the DHHS Licensor at the time of the review. Information presented at the interview will be carefully evaluated for relevance to the licensing review process.
Requests for interview should be through the agency contact person (see below for contact information) at least one week before review is scheduled to begin. Interviews with the DHHS Licensor may be in person or by telephone. Please be sure to give a time to call and a phone number where you may be reached to the agency contact person. If you request an interview with the DHHS Licensor and for some reason do not obtain one, or you do not feel comfortable scheduling it through the agency contact person, you may call DHHS Licensing at 287-9300 and your call will be forwarded to the appropriate DHHS Licensor.
