Hospital’s Youth Services Offers Easy Access and Comprehensive Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Treatment
Bangor, ME – The Acadia Hospital is pleased to announce the hiring of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Sibel Algon, MD. She will be joining Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Eric Kuntz, MD in working with children and teens on the hospital’s inpatient units. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists Jessica Manaker, MD and Julie Balaban, MD see youth patients in Acadia’s outpatient programs.

Dr. Algon earned her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed a psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Most recently she received her fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she served as Chief Resident of Research. She is now board eligible as a practicing psychiatrist.
